Our Story

In 1992, Angelo Venezia founded Venezia Insurance after years in the industry and one unforgettable piece of advice from a mentor. When he said he was going into insurance, the mentor smiled and replied, “Wonderful. You’re going to sell something no one understands, no one wants to pay for, and no one ever wants to use.” Angelo has never forgotten that. Insurance can feel like a necessary evil—and it’s not hard to see why.

But here’s why it’s necessary. Insurance is the one thing that protects everything you’ve spent your life building. Your home. Your business. Your savings. Your future. That belief is what shaped this agency from day one. In 1996, Angelo’s daughter Rebekah joined the business, bringing the same commitment to honest advice, thoughtful analysis, and personal service. Today, Venezia Insurance remains a family-run and client-focused Northern Virginia insurance agency—built on the idea that if something is this important, it deserves time, attention, and straight answers.
